Commission a piece

  1. 1

    Send a photo

Along with the size you have in mind. Strong light and shadow works best: a face lit from one side, a dog against a dark wall, a ridge line at dusk.

  2. 2

    Get a straight answer

Glass can only do light and dark, and the smallest mark is a crack about the size of a coin. If your photo won’t survive that, I’ll say so and suggest what would.

  3. 3

    Approve the preview

You see how the image maps onto the glass, with a fixed quote. Nothing is owed until you say yes and pay the deposit.

  4. 4

    I make it

One wrong strike can mean starting again on a fresh sheet, so allow a few weeks. You’ll get photos along the way.

  5. 5

    See it, then settle up

The balance is due once you’ve seen the finished piece. Then it’s pickup, hand delivery or crated freight.

What it costs

One formula for every piece: width in cm × height in cm × $0.75.

30 × 40 cm
$900
40 × 60 cm
$1,800
60 × 90 cm
$4,050

Other sizes on request. You get a fixed quote before you pay anything.

Your photo is only used to plan and quote your piece. It is never posted or shared without your say-so.
